Musician claims to have fired bullet through his cheek as part of a music video and says the ‘pain wasn’t too bad’ as he laughs off gunshot stunt
A MAN has claimed to have shot himself in the face after posting a video on social media that shows him firing a bullet through his cheek.
Kasper Knight, who calls himself a rapper, uploaded the shocking scenes to his Facebook page and says he wanted to film the clip as part of a music video.
He said that none of the cameramen he knew agreed to film it so he decided to do it himself with the aftermath showing blood gushing from his mouth.
His friends continue driving the car and laughing as Knight, from Indiana, USA, continues speaking into the camera and spewing blood.
Writing on his after the incident, Knight said that the self-inflicted gunshot was only a “4 out of 10 on the pain scale”.
He continued: “To all my friends and family who [are upset] about this, deal with it.
“I don't give a f*** whether you want me to live or not, unless you are paying me money.
“Your care for my life will never supersede my disregard for it.
“I knew it was possible that the bullet might bounce back and puncture my throat but it didn't matter.”
Questions have been asked if the gunshot was actually real as no exit wound can be seen on his opposite cheek with Knight believing he swallowed the bullet after firing it.
The video has nearly 500,000 views, nearly 15,000 shares and over 8,000 comments with several users condemning his stupidity as just an attempt to become internet famous.
Brian Flowers wrote ironically: “Hell yeah, this idiot right here is harder than all of you.”
Others users wrote with much less humour given the seriousness of gun crime and mass shootings that have happened in America recently.
Brittany Leigh Vanderburg posted: “This made me cry.
“Hits too close to home.
“It's not okay.”
