Cyclist gets up and rides home after car accident… but dies of a heart attack just hours later

A CYCLIST in a road accident got back on his bike then suffered a fatal heart attack hours later.
Jason Lee Gibbs, 44, was on his way home from work on his mountain bike on Friday when he collided with a vehicle, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
He got up, rode home and went to bed after the crash, which happened between 1.10pm and 1.50pm.
He later suffered a cardiac arrest and was taken to hospital at around 5.30pm. He died in the early hours of Sunday morning, GMP said.
Officers are investigating the crash, which happened as Mr Gibbs made his way to his Moss Side home from the Gorton area of Manchester.

Pc Neil Pennington said: "Unfortunately, we don't have full details of where the collision happened or what vehicle was involved, but I am urging anyone who saw the collision or was involved to come forward.
"It may not have appeared serious at the time, but a man has died, and any information you have, no matter how small, could help us piece together what happened."
Mr Gibbs was riding a Kona Fire Mountain bike and wearing a blue cycle helmet.
Police do not yet know whether he collided with a moving or stationary vehicle.
