THIS is the moment vigilant paedophile hunters confront a man they have been speaking to as "Amy Louise" online.

He had sent a string of lewd messages and photos of his penis to the fake 13-year-old girl.

Paul Platten looks startled as he answers the front door and is confronted with pictures of the girl and the pictures he sent.

He asks to see ID and is informed he is going to be "in a lot of trouble" after speaking to who he thought was a teenage girl for three months.

The 38-year-old had also arranged to meet the girl in Greenwich.

The former KFC kitchen worker, who used to work at a restaurant in Somerset but is no longer employed by the company, is informed "you're going to be arrested for online grooming" by one of the men and looks visibly shaken.

After being pressed, married Platten confesses that the images are of him but argues, "I didn't know she was 13" - despite being told from the start.

The men ask: "What is wrong with you?" and "Do you know what you've done? Do you care?"

Platten, of Wincanton, Somerset, replies: "Yes, I do care."

They push him further, saying: "You don't care, do you?" to which he shouts: "Yes I f****** care."

Platten continues, complaining over how the men are talking to him: "You speak to me like a piece of s*** so I speak to you like a piece of s***."

One of the men shouts back at him: "How do you think these f****** 13-year-old kids feel? You are online grooming them. How do you think they f****** feel?"

One of the men adds: "You're going to have to be moved far away. Hopefully on an island with shark-infested waters."

They then ask Platten why he feels the need to send naked photos to a 13-year-old girl, and he replies: "I don't know."

He is told by the men they know he has four or five Facebook accounts for online chatting, but says he can't remember them all.

He is adamant and says: "I've never touched anyone".

One man asks: "Why are you showing pictures of you c*** to children?

Platten shrugs as he replies: "I don't know. I'm confused."

The video ends with the 'inspectors' still on Platten's doorstep, telling him: "You're a f****** nonce case."

Platten found "Amy Louise" on friend meeting site Waplog.

He sent her dozens of explicit messages, including one which said: "I wud love to c u fully naked my toung on your toung my hand on ur boobs."

Others read: "Lol hehehe wish I wiv u cddle u feel u all over ur body kissing ur lips,"; and "Am so naked now."

Platten admitted one count of attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity on March 17 this year, and again on March 19 and 20.

He also admitted one charge of attempting to engage in sexual activity with a child between March 8 and June 12 at Taunton Crown Court on Monday.

The case has been adjourned for sentencing.

Platten messaged an account set up by The Hunted One, a group of abuse survivors and parents devoted to exposing sex offenders.

In the 11 months they have been operating, they have caught 22 people sending messages to children and have a 100 per cent conviction rate so far.

The man behind The Hunted One, who wants to remain anonymous, was abused as a child by a man who has now been jailed for 14 years.

Now a dad himself, he is desperate to expose sex offenders to save potential future victims from harm.

He said: "Every time we expose one it gives me a bit of pleasure. It's a feeling of relief.

"We spend a lot of time on the chats. There are currently four of us of all ages doing it.

"We all know people who have been abused in the past, but all of us are also concerned parents who know how widely the web is used by kids.

"Some of them get trapped into the world of people who prey on children.

"We don't initiate conversations, we just let them incriminate themselves as the chat goes on.

"If they then decide they want to meet the child, we go and we meet them.

"Some of them crumble straight away when their world just falls apart. Most of them just stand there quietly and talk to us."

He added: "The police always say we have done a really good job and if we keep bringing them paedophiles, they will do their best to get justice."

Others brought to justice by the group are Scott Mooney, 30, who travelled two hours to meet a 14-year-old for sex, but was met by investigators.

He had been cleared for grooming another decoy child just 72 hours previously, but was jailed for ten months after being caught by The Hunted One.

Robert Gray, 63, who was jailed for eight years for raping 12-year-old child in 2006, was sentenced to 26 months after arranging to meet a 14-year-old for sex.

Both men were placed on the sex offenders register for life.
