The gaming world was rocked today when a British father alleged one of its games had accidentally taught his eight-year-old daughter the word "c***".

But it turns out there are a lot of potentially suspicious sounds in video games which are waiting to offend sensitive players.

But that's not the end of the bizarre Nintendo allegations, because another Youtuber has also claimed bad guy Bowser utters the offensive word "n*****" during a trailer for the same game - although this contested utterance is probably just a roar.

In 2007, Nintendo famously withdrew a game called Mario Party from Britain because it featured the word "spastic".
