Nicole Wallace, 52, is the host of Deadline: White House on MSNBC.

She has been the anchor of the show since 2017, which airs weekdays from 4 pm to 6 pm ET.

On November 21, 2023, Wallace appeared on the show from her home.

She announced the birth of her second child, explaining her then-weeklong absence from the show.

Alicia Menendez often filled in for Wallace during her absence.

Wallace ended up taking a months-long maternity leave, returning to Deadline on February 26, 2024.

"Well, hello everybody, it's 4 o'clock in New York. I miss saying that," the star anchor addressed viewers on the television program.

"It is so very, very, very, good to be back with you. I've missed everyone," she continued.

Wallace previously worked as an analyst for MSNBC's live coverage of election results.

She also appears as an analyst on NBC News' Today and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt.

Prior to being on air, Wallace was the White House Communications Director to former President George W. Bush. 

She also served as senior adviser to the McCain-Palin campaign in 2008.
