Shoppers duped by supermarkets over sham ‘offers’ on sun cream
Tesco is one of the worst offenders, an investigation by The Sun found
SHOPPERS are being duped at supermarkets by sham “offers” on sun cream.
Tesco is one of the worst offenders, an investigation by The Sun found.
It claims families save a fiver if they buy two bottles of Garnier Ambre Solaire Protection Lotion SPF 15 for £12 — because one bottle is £8.50.
But at Morrisons a single bottle is £5 — so two are just a tenner.
Tesco also charges £8.50 for 200ml of Nivea Sun Protect & Moisture Moisturising Sun Spray 30 High but will sell you two for £9.
A single bottle at Iceland is £3.99.
At M&S Nivea sun lotion for babies is £7 — marked down from £14.
It is £6 in Morrisons.
