Met Police seize record £114million of Bitcoin from ‘gang of launderers’
A RECORD £114million worth of Bitcoin cryptocurrency was seized by cops yesterday.
The e-money was found stored on computers when the Met Police swooped on a suspected gang of launderers.

The raids followed a major probe involving police and intelligence services into a foreign-based network suspected of handling huge sums of criminal cash.
Suspicion was aroused when an alleged member of the gang bought a £10million mansion in central London.
Cops seized computers during the raids in London.

Encrypted passwords were opened.
It is thought to be the biggest amount of the cryptocurrency seized in the UK and one of the largest in the world.
At least one man was arrested though the force declined to say how many, adding: “The investigation continues.”
