A FORMER Central Investigation Bureau officer has slammed German chancellor Angela Merkel’s migrant policy claiming “Western Europe is practically dead”.
Speaking on a Polish TV show, Jacek Wrona blasted Germany’s weak response to the spate of recent terror attacks comparing the situation to the fall of the Roman Empire.
Wrona, who was joined on the programme by military historian Dr Rafal Brzeski, said: “Europe is at the end of its existence. Western Europe is practically dead.
“These people live in a void, without ideas. And they come the young, who want to acquire wealth, as once did the barbarians. And they have the power.”
The Pole said the European Union is suffering from political correctness.
He said: “The worst problem for services is political correctness. We need a sober judgement.”
Dr Brzeski also claimed that the policies of Merkel’s government are at odds with the attitudes of the German people.
He said: “The Germans have had enough of this, which does not mean that the government has had enough. These are two different approaches.”
Merkel’s open door refugee policy has seen 1.1 million migrants arriving in Germany from war torn countries such as Syria and Iraq.
And following the five separate terror attacks in July, which left 15 people dead, the beleaguered Chancellor has set out an early warning system to identify radical refugees.
Wrona also blamed the EU’s free movement of people for the influx of Soviet-era weapons into Western Europe.
He said: “The whole Balkans are flooded with weapons, and from the Balkans have come two million people.
“Together with them came arms dealers, gangsters, drug dealers. Buying a Kalashnikov in Bosnia and Herzegovina is as it was with us after the war. You can buy one for peanuts”.
The pair’s damning assessments of Europe’s migrant crisis comes as thousands of people flooded the streets of Berlin on Saturday to protest Merkel’s open door policy.
