A car following behind filmed him as he punched the air in delight at passing motorists and Three Lions by the Lightning Seeds was played.

The mystery fan told pals at kick-off: "If England beat Germany I'll run through the town centre starkers."

As the full whistle blew on England's historic victory he took his kit off and went through with it.

He was spotted running along Boothferry Road in a pair of socks and black trainers - while keeping hold of his tackle.

One shocked resident said: "I just couldn't believe it.

"It came out of nowhere and cars were following him, shouting something about England."
