JAMES Corden made it clear who he backs in the US presidential election when he sang (Trump’s an) Asshole with Dennis Leary.
Dressed up like the Clintons, the two comedians took to the stage with a modern take on Leary’s song Asshole – with lyrics ribbing Donald Trump.
Slamming the Republican presidential candidate’s controversial policies, the pair sang: “Trump’s an asshole, he’s an asshole, what an asshole."
Other lyrics included: “He won’t show his taxes / He won’t even try / He’s kicking out babies when / they start to cry” and “I’ve never asked Russia / to hack the USA / or said that my daughter / is someone I want to date.”
They also point out the failings of Bill and Hillary Clinton but – dressed as the former President of the USA – Leary sings: “We’ve never said Mexicans are rapists on TV”.
The song is likely to be very popular with the Trump-haters but it’s probably safe to say Corden won’t be getting the brash billionaire on the show for Carpool Karaoke any time soon.
This popular segment has featured Adele, Justin Bieber, Stevie Wonder and even the America’s First Lady Michelle Obama.
The First Lady’s hilarious Carpool Karaoke set Twitter trending as Corden blasted out his best Beyonce impression and got stuck into the hand-waving routine for Single Ladies.
The full video of their popstar credentials shows them enjoying banter and mixing attitude-packed routines with high-pitched singing.
As they drove around the White House grounds they also tried their hand at a Stevie Wonder classic and Missy Elliott made an appearance.
As the rain lashed down on the car windows it didn't dampen their spirits one bit.
Mum-of- two Michelle had James in fits of laughter after their track with the quip: "Woahh what can we say - we were making honey to put in out lemonade."
James followed up the banter with: "We were in the bee hive."
Between their in-car performances the pair chatted about everything from ordering grilled cheese sandwiches and late night snacks from White House staff to Michelle's new Snapchat account and her secret service code name.
James previously told The Sun that no one was more surprised than him that the show has been so popular in the US.
He said: “What are the chances of a chubby boy, and I’m being generous, going to America to do a top job like this every night and being anything other than a complete disaster?
“I’m scared I’ll be the boy from High Wycombe who just couldn’t hack it and had to go back home with his tail between his legs.”
