Have-a-go hero who stood up to Munich gunman is now facing prosecution for ‘INSULTING the killer’
Foul-mouthed rant at evil mass-murderer could be used as evidence for 'insulting the dead' charge
A POTTY-mouthed hero who stood up to the Munich gunman as he paraded through a shopping centre slaughtering innocents could be charged for INSULTING the killer.
Thomas Salbey, 57, is also known as "balcony man" after a video emerged of him screaming at terrorist Ali Sonboly from his nearby flat.
He has been praised around the world for bravely confronting the shooter, even throwing a beer bottle at him to try to stop the horrific rampage that left nine dead.
"All I had was a beer bottle to throw at him, but if I had a gun I would have shot him in the head", the Munich resident has said.

But German prosecutors are investigating Salbey for potentially insulting the 18-year-old gunman, who shot himself after completing his evil mission.
On 22 July murder-obsessed Sonboly lured local teenagers to a McDonalds restaurant at the Olympia shopping centre to carry out his sick mass-shooting fantasy.
But it is Salbey, who has given interviews since the shooting maintaining his hatred for the killer, that could soon face justice.
Spokesperson Florian Weinzierl from the State Prosecutor’s office of Munich said Salbey is being investigated for potentially delivering "insults to the detriment of the Dead".
A court review of the evidence against Salbey is expected soon to decide whether any formal charge will be made.
