THREE people are in hospital after their fixed-wing plane today crashed into a field in Weymouth.
The plane was seen lying on its roof after smashing into grassland on a private farm around 12.30pm.
The nose of the plane appeared completely destroyed, and the aircraft landed on a small brick building on the property.
All three on board - two adults and a child - were taken to Dorset County Hospital, though none are thought to have been badly injured.
Police and the Air Accidents Investigations Branch have cordoned off the scene while the investigation is underway.
