TV bosses release first ever Coronation Street colouring book featuring 45 classic soap scenes
All our favourite moments from 56 years of the soap are there
ONE of Britain's best loved soaps has revealed its latest piece of official merchandise - an adult colouring book.
The ITV show has had some colourful scenes over the years - and now it's giving viewers the chance to bring them to life for themselves.
Featuring 45 line drawings of key scenes from the ITV drama, the book brings together classic characters and storylines from the very beginning in 1960 to the present day.
From evil Richard Hillman plunging a car into the canal to the tram crash of 2010, it relives some of the most explosive events in the show’s history.
Fans’ favourite characters are also celebrated, with pages dedicated to Fred Elliott, Bet Lynch and, of course, the Coronation Street cat.
Each of the blank scenes is twinned with the original still from the ITV archives and a description detailing its significance by Glenda Young, author of fan site The Coronation Street blog.
