Man in hospital after being beaten with golf club in south London street fight
Emergency services attended the scene after a brawl broke out at 1am this morning
A MAN is in hospital today after being attacked with a GOLF CLUB during a street fight in south London.
The man, 54, who was hit with the club was taken to hospital, while a second man, 34, was treated at the scene.
Emergency services rushed to the scene after a brawl broke out in Sydenham, South London in the early hours of the morning.
London Ambulance Service’s Joint Response Unit, shared a picture from the scene and wrote on Twitter: “Busy shift with @MPSLewisham.
"This is the scene from an assault with a golf club. Patient taken to A&E for treatment.”
Three other men were arrested in connection with the incident, police said.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
