DID REBECCA ADLINGTON JUST SAY F*** OFF?

Former swimmer appears to swear live on BBC at fellow Olympian Mark Foster

Gold medallist's alleged poolside potty-mouthed behaviour comes days after leg-stroke got the nation talking

DOUBLE-Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington appeared to tell her fellow Olympian Mark Foster to "f*** off" live on the BBC.

The apparent outburst has come just days after the internet went into meltdown when Adlington stroked Foster's leg on air.

The latest video has since been played several times, and it appears the Olympian is actually saying "back off" rather than "f*** off".

The couple seemed in high spirits during the coverage which was aired in the UK in the early hours of this morning

Foster had mocked Adlington for "only winning a bronze" at London 2012, before the swimmer appeared to turn around and blast him with the expletive at around 3.20am UK-time this morning.

Just as they did after the recent leg-stroking, Twitter users were quick to comment on this morning's alleged outburst.

Sharped-eyed fans watching swimmers compete at the Olympics noticed commentator and former Olympic gold medallist Adlington’s hand slide on to Mark’s leg last week.

Adlington won gold in both the 400m freestyle and 800m freestyle at the 2008 Olympics and bronze in the same disciplines at London 2012.

Mark is a former world champion and among the most successful British swimmers of all time.
