Woman pregnant with the TWENTY-EIGHTH child of jailed drugs baron is spared jail after judge took pity on her
AN ADDICT pregnant with the 28th child of an evil drugs baron was spared jail today after a judge took pity on her.
Jennifer Dunn, 32, was "used and abused" by dealer Tony Henderson before he dumped her "like a hot potato", a court heard.
Henderson, 53, who has fathered 27 children by at least four different women, was jailed for 12 years in July for running a major drugs ring.
Dunn, 32, was also charged with supplying crack cocaine and heroin and on the opening day of her trial pleaded guilty to possessing the Class A drugs.
Sporting a bleached blonde ponytail and wearing a pink maternity top, she sat in silence in the dock as she was spared jail.
Hull Crown Court was told that she was a vulnerable woman who 'malign' Henderson had taken advantage of.
Judge Jeremy Richardson, QC said: "As the pre-sentence report states he [Henderson] dropped her like 'a hot potato'.
"During the trial I remember he thought that he had 'x' amount of children - but it turned out to be 'y'. Was it 28 or 29 children he had?
"But anyway, this bloke, Henderson, is a thoroughly malign individual to put it mildly - he has used and abused you in this case."
The court heard that Dunn was coping well within her pregnancy now she had shaken free from the clutches of Henderson.
Prosecutor Jayne Bryan said Dunn decided to plead guilty to the lesser charges of possession the day after a jury was sworn in for her trial.
She said: "This defendant was in possession of these drugs to sell them on to two of three others, which was to fuel her own addiction."
Defending, Martin Phillip handed a pre-sentence report to Judge Richardson from Dunn's mother who was not named in court.
It spoke of her horror at the way Henderson had dropped her like "a hot potato" once he had had his way with her.

He told her: "You were very foolish to get involved with him.
"But of course there is some hope that these seeds will flourish in life - and some good will come of this in the form of a baby.
"But I warn you, if you breach this order and are back before me in this court then I will not hesitate to send you to prison - and you will lose your baby.
"I am sure social services are already involved in this and if you breach this order then you know you will go to prison and someone else will be there to look after this child.
"Men like this in the world are ones who need to be avoided - this man here has used and abused you."
