Former PM David Cameron trapped in revolving gate at Westminster after forgetting security pass
The Witney MP was left red-faced as tourists laughed at his bumble

FORMER PM David Cameron resurfaced back at the office yesterday - but couldn’t get back into Parliament after appearing to forget his security pass.
The MP for Witney looked tanned and relaxed fresh from his holiday as he joked: “They’ve locked me out already” when he became stuck in a revolving gate at the Palace of Westminster.
A security officer had to help a red-faced Mr Cameron through the security barrier close to the Westminster Hall entrance that needs a swipe from an MP’s pass to access.
Tourists and parliament staff chuckled as he tried to push through the gate before becoming trapped.

But last night a source close to the former prime minister admitted: “He doesn’t normally carry his pass with him.”
The source added: “He’ll have wanted to get back after his holiday and check in with his staff, nothing more than that.
“He is still an MP. He will have been in to touch base at his office and catch up with his work.”
