On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, Mullin challenged Sean O'Brien, the president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, to a fistfight in the middle of a Senate hearing.
Who is Senator Markwayne Mullin?
Mullin, 44, is a businessman, politician, and US Senator from Oklahoma.
He assumed office on January 3, 2023.
He is the first Native American US Senator since Ben Nighthorse Campbell retired in 2005.
Mullin is also the second Cherokee Nation citizen elected to the Senate.

Mullin defeated Horn with 61.8% of the vote.
In June 2023, reported that Teamsters President Sean O'Brien called Mullin a "clown" and a "fraud."
“In reality, just a clown & fraud. Always has been, always will be. Quit the tough guy act in these senate hearings. You know where to find me. Anyplace, Anytime cowboy."
In November 2023 during a Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, Mullin responded to O'Brien's criticism.
“Sir, this is a time, this is a place. You want to run your mouth, we can be two consenting adults, we can finish it here."
He added, "You want to do it now? Stand your butt up then."
The duo were quickly shut down by Vermont Independent Senator Bernie Sanders, who started tapping his gavel and shouted: “Hold it. No, no, no, sit down. Sit down!”
“You’re a United States senator, sit down. This is a hearing and God knows the American people have enough contempt for Congress."
Mullin then reportedly summoned the Teamster to a charity [MMA] match next year in Tulsa.
