18-year-old boxer dodges jail after knocking Asda shopper out with just one punch that broke his jaw
Freddy Young claimed the victim threatened one of his brothers before the assault
A BOXER attacked a shopper and knocked him unconscious with a single punch, a court heard.
Freddy Young, 18, left Vladimir Bekes, 32, with a broken jaw, dental damage and needing a metal plate in his face.
It followed an exchange of words as they stood on an escalator with Young’s two younger brothers.
Young, seen as a future Olympics hope, claimed he believed Mr Bekes was threatening one of his brothers at an Asda in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
