Kellyanne Conway demands Biden RESIGN after White House tells Trump appointees to step down or be fired

KELLYANNE Conway has demanded that President Joe Biden resign after the White House ordered Donald Trump's appointees to military academies to step down immediately or be fired.

Conway pushed for Biden's resignation in a Wednesday letter after his administration moved to force out 18 allies of former president Trump.

The selected allies were named to U.S. military academy boards in the last months of Trump's time in office.

In response to White House Presidential Personnel Office Director Cathy Russell sending letters to 18 people and calling on them to resign by close of business on Wednesday, Conway wrote a message to Biden.

Conway tweeted a copy of her letter to Biden and wrote: "President Biden, I'm not resigning, but you should."

According to Conway's message, the 54-year-old mom of four received a letter on Wednesday demanding she resigns from the Board of Visitors to the United States Air Force Academy or be terminated by 6pm tonight.

Conway, Trump's former senior counselor, : "Three former Directors of Presidential Personel inform me that this request is a break from presidential norms."

She then slammed the request as seeming "petty and political, if not personal."

"Your decision is disappointing but understandable given the need to distract from a news cycle that has you mired in multiple self-inflicted crises and plummeting poll numbers," Conway added.

"Including a rise in new COVID cases, a dismal jobs report, inflation, record amount of drugs coming across the southern border, and, of course, the chaotic and deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan that has left hundreds of Americans and thousands of Afghan allies stranded under Taliban rule."

After slamming Biden's actions "that resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. service members," Conway concluded her letter by saying: "I'm not resigning, but you should."

The fiery message comes after Russell sent letters to 18 people named to the boards of visitors for the Air Force Academy, Military Academy and Naval Academy.

All 18 people, including Conway, were called on to resign by close of business on Wednesday otherwise they would be terminated, according to The Associated Press.

Among the other chosen Trump allies were press secretary Sean Spicer (Naval Academy), national security adviser H.R. McMaster (U.S. Military Academy) and Office of Management and Budget director Russell Vought (Naval Academy).

White House press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed earlier on Wednesday that letters were sent asking the select people to resign or face termination.
Psaki told reporters: "I will let others evaluate whether they think Kellyanne Conway and Sean Spicer and others were qualified, or not political, to serve on these boards.

"But the president's qualification requirements are not your party registration.

"They are whether you're qualified to serve and whether you are aligned with the values of this administration."

Meanwhile, Conway isn't the only person who spoke out and refused to resign after the request was sent out.

Jonathan Hiler, a Navy academy alumnus who served under Vice President Mike Pence, insisted he's "not resigning."

He tweeted: "I am . As an alum and former naval officer, I believe developing leaders capable of defending our country's interests at sea--USNA's mission--is not something that should be consumed by partisan politics.

"Apparently, President Biden feels differently."

Former White House official Sean Spicer also fired back at the Biden administration's request for him to resign.

Speaking on Newsmax Wednesday evening, Spicer announced for the first time: "I will not be submitting my resignation and I will be joining a lawsuit to fight this."
