Haunted Hills Hayride shooting – One teenager, 15, shot dead and another critical in Pennsylvania as cops hunt suspect

A DEADLY shooting at the Haunted Hills Hayride in Pennsylvania left one teen dead and another in critical condition as shots rang out at the popular attraction, police say.

The 15-year-olds were shot after an argument near a ticket booth at 8.15pm local time when the teenage suspect opened fire – minutes before the gates were scheduled to open.

there told The Sun: "First responders found two 15 year old male victims shot.

"Both victims were transported to area hospitals. One of the victims was pronounced deceased [and] one is in critical condition.

"The suspect is described as a black male, 15 to 17 years of age, wearing dark clothing and a black back pack."

When law enforcement arrived after County 911 was alerted to the shooting, there was a crowd of 500 people running away from the attraction in North Versailles.

Employee Pipper Donaldson told they heard at least 3-4 gunshots.

"We were in our scene getting ready for more people to come down," said Donaldson, one of the employees.

"We heard the gunshots and somebody came running past us and didn’t tell us anything.

"[We heard] about four or five [gunshots], and they evacuated us. They didn’t tell us anything until the end until we were ready to leave."

A murder investigation into the fatal shooting is underway, cops said in the early hours of Sunday morning.

"Kids fighting and shooting at a hayride," wrote one Twitter user. "I just don’t understand."

"Shooting at the Haunted Hills Hayride in North Versailles. Avoid the area," warned a second person.

"I’m honestly so sick and anxious because of the NV hayride shooting," wrote a third.

"I hope everyone effected is okay and they find those shooters now,"

The Sun also reached the Haunted Hills Hayride on Instagram for comment and did not receive a response.
