Princess Eugenie set to ‘rent’ cottage in grounds of Kensington Palace to become neighbours with Kate and Wills

Rumours the princess is to marry long-term beau James Brooksbank denied

PRINCESS Eugenie is to move into Kensington Palace, where she will count the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as well as Prince Harry as neighbours, reports have suggested.

The royal appears set to leave the apartment she has been sharing with sister Princess Beatrice.

The announcement follows rumours Eugenie is set to marry long-term boyfriend James Brooksbank.

The princess’ mother The Duchess of York has denied marriage speculation stating it is “absolutely not true”.

Sources close Eugenie told the she is looking to move into three bedroom Ivy Cottage, in the grounds of the Kensington Palace, early next year.

She has been living in a four-bedroom apartment in St James’ Palace with sister Beatrice.

A source told the Mail the princess, who works as a associate director at contemporary art gallery Hauser & Wirth, felt it was time to get a place of her own and  would be paying full market rent.

The Sunday Express reported Eugenie was set to marry boyfriend of six years  James Brooksbank.

Eugenie, 26, and Jack, 29, are planning to get engaged by the end of the year, the paper said.

The pair began dating after they were introduced by friends in the Swiss ski resort of Verbier.

The rumours have since been strongly denied by the princess’ mother.

Princess Eugenie of York is eighth in line to the throne and is the third female in the line of succession after her sister Princess Beatrice.

Her sister Beatrice split with long-term boyfriend Dave Clark just days ago.
