Queen sends bizarre celebratory message to Kim Jong-un as tyrant ramps up nukes and starves millions

THE QUEEN has sent a bizarre celebratory message to Kim Jong-un regarding North Korea's National Day.

Her Majesty's note comes amid World War Three fears after it was revealed Kim has built a new long-range cruise missile capable of carrying nuclear weapons.

The Queen’s message read: "As the people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea celebrate their National Day, I send my good wishes for the future."

Korea expert Aidan Foster-Carter, a senior research fellow at Leeds University, told the outlet that North Korea "regularly greets our queen on her birthday but I find no trace of any message from us/her to them—until now. So this is intriguing."

And although there might have been some disbelief, a royal spokesman confirmed the Queen did send the message to the dictator for the 73rd anniversary of the country's founding as the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Last week the North Korean leader waved at crowds from a platform in Kim Il Sung square during a celebratory midnight parade.

The photos released showed Kim looking considerably skinnier as he was hugged by two adoring children and saluted men marching biohazard suits.

However, marching bands that led the parade were followed by an "emergency disease prevention unit" of men kitted up in apocalyptic-looking red hazmat suits and large gas masks in a scary display of bio-warfare.

FOOD SHORTAGE

Meanwhile the country is suffering by a catastrophic food shortage - for which the North Korean leader has purged officials.

The 37-year-old leader had piled on the pounds since he took power a decade ago - ballooning to 22 stone - but recently shed the blubber when he struggled to breathe.

According to one source, Kim's cronies said he gained weight due to work-related stress, drinking, heavy smoking and a high-fat diet.

Those close to the North Korean despot are said to have pleaded with Kim to get fit and "take some rest" for the "good of his people".

Kim’s health has previously been a closely guarded state secret - but starving North Koreans have said they are increasingly worried about the health of their "emaciated" leader, according to state media.
