Gabby Petito ’cause of death’ – Autopsy on remains found scheduled as coroner’s van leaves Wyoming search site
AN AUTOPSY is scheduled for later this week after a body was found in the search for missing Gabby Petito.
The Teton County Coroner's Office confirmed to Fox News Digital that the autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, September 21.
The coroner's van was seen leaving the national park after FBI and National Park Service officials held a press conference regarding the remains.
Teton County Coroner Brent Blue was on the scene at the park.
That came after officials said they believe they have found the body of the 22-year-old YouTuber.
INFORMATION STILL SOUGHT
In their statement, FBI officials said, "Full forensic identification has not been completed and we do not yet know the cause of death."
The FBI is still investigating Gabby Petito's disappearance and accepting information from the public.
"We continue to seek information from anyone who utilized the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area between the dates of August 27-30, 2021 and who may have had contact with Gabby or her boyfriend, or who may have seen their vehicle," said the agency in a statement.

The photo features Gabby in front of a mural of angel wings, and the caption “she touched the world” with a broken heart emoji.

'FOREVER GRATEFUL'
"Your tireless work and determination helped ," Stafford wrote. "The family and I will be forever grateful."
The vlogger, 22, had been traveling across America since July and was last seen on August 24 leaving a hotel with her fiancé Brian Laundrie.
They visited national parks and tourist attractions before she went missing.
"It was just a text. I did not verbally speak to her," she told the media outlet.
Following the unusual circumstances, Schmidt then reported her daughter missing on September 11 at around 6.55pm.
Cops found the couple's Ford Transit van in North Port, , during the weekend of September 11 - when Gabby's parents reported her disappearance.
But he has not been heard from in some days, with North Port police searching the Mabry Carlton Reserve for the missing man.
As the investigation continues, Laundrie reportedly remains a person of interest.
On September 14, Laundrie issued a statement through his lawyer, saying: ";This is an extremely difficult time for both the Petito family and the Laundrie family.
"I understand that a search has been organized for Miss Petito in or near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. On behalf of the Laundrie family it is our hope that the search for Miss Petito is successful and that Miss Petito is re-united with her family.
"On the advice of counsel the Laundrie family is remaining in the background at this juncture and will have no further comment."

LAUNDRIE GOES MISSING
In a shocking turn of events, Laundrie himself was then reported as the police report that he has not been seen for days.
“The attorney for the Laundrie family called FBI investigators Friday night, indicating the family would like to talk about the disappearance of their son. The family now claims that they have not seen Brian since Tuesday of this week,” Josh Taylor, a public information officer for the North Port Police said.
