A MOTHER said she was "disgusted" to find a maggot like creature in sweetcorn bought for her 18-month-old daughter from KFC.
Jennifer Henderson claims she found the creature in sweetcorn from a Birmingham branch of the fast food chain.
She said: “I went into KFC in Barnes Hill in Birmingham, ordered a meal for me and my daughter and bought it home.
“I cut the sweetcorn up for my 18 months-old-child to discover there was a maggot in there.
“I didn't eat any of the food and took it back to report to the manager.
"They said the food comes in frozen. I said that they have to cook the food and wrap it up.
"This is disgusting and unhealthy. They offered me a free meal which I refused.
"I said I feel sick as my baby daughter could of eaten it. No way will I ever be eating here again and I will be reporting it.”
