HILLARY Clinton was filmed squirming her way through a super awkward hug with joe Biden after it went on for way too long.

The Presidential hopeful tried to get out of the embrace on the runway in Pennsylvania, but the Vice President was not letting go.

Ms Clinton had travelled to Scranton, Mr Biden’s childhood hoe, to campaign ahead of November’s election, and met him as he stepped off his official plane, dubbed Air Force Two.

The 73-year-old greeted the Democratic nominee by saying ‘hello my dear’, before hugging her tightly.

She seemed to be enjoying the warm embrace from her old friend, until Mr Biden seemed reluctant to let go.

Mrs Clinton began tapping his arm, and repeatedly trying to end the clinch, but to no avail.

Instead the pair stood locked together in front of the media for what seemed like an eternity with his arms around her waist.

Eventually the VP did let go and the pair entered a limousine and heading off on the campaign trail.

They then held a joint rally, where Mrs Clinton heaped praise on Mr Biden, before he gave a passionate plea for voters to pick her over Donald Trump in the election.

He said she is the best candidate to protect the country and bring economic prosperity to the middle class.

The retiring politician said: “'If you worry about your job, getting decent pay, if you worry about your children's education, if you're taking care of an elderly parent after losing the other one, then there's only one person in this election who will possibly help you and that is Hillary Clinton.”
