A WOMAN fought off a sex attacker who came into her tent at Bloodstock festival - with a TORCH.
The 28-year-old victim was in her tent at the music festival in Catton Park, Derbyshire, when the attack took place.
She said a man, described as white with a tanned complexion, uneven teeth and acne scars, came into her tent and sexually assaulted her.
The brave woman struck the man's hand with a torch and he fled the scene.
The man, described as in his late 20s, was wearing a black band t-shirt and tan shorts.
Police say he may have complained to friends and family about a pain in his hand.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information about the incident - which took place on Sunday between 2.50pm and 3.20pm - to call them on 101.
The heavy metal festival took place last weekend and hosted acts such as Slayer, Twisted Sister and Mastodon.
It sells itself as "the UK's biggest independent metal festival held in the picturesque location of Walton on Trent in Derbyshire".
Around 15,000 "metal heads" attend the festival every year.
