A BANGLADESHI fisherman brutally mauled by a tiger has revealed his horrific disfigurement for the first time.
Hashmot Ali, 40, was attacked by the beast while sleeping on a boat docked in a mangrove forest canal.
The tiger snuck up on sleeping Hashmot and clawed his face just once - tearing through his flesh.
The father-of-three has now spoken out after being subjected to sickening abuse from members of his community.
Hashmot, who would sometimes spend days collecting honey and wood inside the country's forests, then began screaming.
His colleagues awoke, and tried to make loud signs to scare the animal away.

Eventually they managed to frighten it into releasing Hashmot by banging their boat paddles.
He then endured a six-hour wait for medical treatment as they boated back to the nearest city.
Badly disfigured Hashmot now works at a local market but wears a handkerchief across his face to hide his mutilation.
But the horrific attacks led to him being ostracised from his community.
Married with three kids, he fears his daughter will be unable to find a husband because of his scars.
He hopes to get plastic surgery to fix his disfigurement, but is unable to afford it.
