SHOCKED families called the police after seeing two semi-naked women openly having sex with each other in a public park.
Officers found the two drunken women on the ground performing sex acts on each other with their shorts off, Exeter Crown Court was told on Friday.
Martina Loosemore, 31, of Barnstaple, North Devon, admitted outraging public decency and her sentence was deferred for three months by Judge Phillip Wassall.
Her plea put her in breach of an earlier suspended sentence for possessing a knife during a confrontation in Barnstaple last year.
Co-defendant Anita Jane Hare, 45, also of Barnstaple, has admitted the same charge and will be sentenced separately by the town's magistrates next month.
The judge told Loosemore he was delaying her sentence to give her a chance to work on a long standing alcohol problem with the Alabare Christian Care and Support Centre in North Devon.
The judge told Loosemore: "Your future is in your own hands.
"If you do accept the help you are offered you will be sentencing yourself to serve the suspended sentence and something on top for this outrageous display of public indecency."
Mr Gordon Richings, prosecuting, said Loosemore and Anita Hare were arrested at Pilton Park in Barnstaple on the afternoon of July 25, when families with children and dogwalkers were out enjoying the sunshine.

He said: "A witness saw two women on a bench in full view and sight of everybody.
"One woman described seeing Hare with her hand moving in Loosemore's crotch.
"She concluded she was masturbating her and called the police.
"She saw Loosemore pull down her shorts and Hare knelt down and performed oral sex.
"Other witnesses were shocked and disgusted and children were present nearby.
"The women took down their trousers and shorts and masturbated each other.
"Two police officers who arrived said they observed them taking part in a lewd act.
"They also noted the shocked reaction of members of the public.
"One woman approached the police sergeant and said she hoped he would lock them up for a long time."
On seeing the police they both pulled their shorts and trousers back up.
"The women were described as being drunk and officers said there were about 20 people in the park."
Mr Richard Crabb, defending, said Loosemore has long standing problems with alcohol and was living a chaotic lifestyle at the time because she was evicted and made homeless in April.
He said she is a mother-of-two whose children are being looked after by friends or family while she has been admitted to the Alabare Christian Centre where she is subject to a curfew and is forbidden from drinking alcohol.
