Paedo footballer Adam Johnson is getting visits from by his GOLF COACH in jail

SHAMED footy paedo Adam Johnson is being visited in prison by his golf coach.

The ex-England winger had his golf pro drop by as he serves out his six years for grooming and having sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl.

Andrew Robinson, who works at the posh Castle Eden and Cleveland golf clubs, in Hartlepool and Redcar, tweeted:  “Great to see Johno ­today. Missing my golf ­partner though. Soon be back playing.”

Mr Robinson visited the disgraced former Sunderland player at Moorland jail in South Yorkshire.

The upmarket golf clubs are unlikely to welcome the paedo back onto their fairways upon his release with a source telling the Sunday People:  “Both clubs have strong junior sections and the members are not ­going to risk alienating the next generation of golfers by ­having a convicted sex offender on the course."

Johnson was caged in March for his sick sex crimes was a keen golfer and used to have a pitch and putt area in the grounds of his County Durham mansion, currently on sale for £1.85million.

But Johnson could be back on the greens before he even finishes his sentence.

The paedo is rumoured to be seeking a move to cushy Leyhill open prison in Gloucestershire.

Lags at the relaxed lock up can enjoy a nine hole pitch and putt course inside the prison walls.
