THIS was the shocking moment a man threatened diners with a knife before another starts firing a gun in a busy Turkish restaurant in London.

Police today released CCTV footage of the incident and the two men wanted in connection with the gun attack at the Macho Bistro in Dalston.

Terrified diners cowered at their tables when then first man started threatening those inside with a knife following an argument.

The suspect then made off on foot.

Less than five minutes later another man wearing a white motorcycle helmet fired a shot at two customers inside the popular restaurant.

Footage then showed the suspect run down a flight of stairs, look around for the gun shell and quickly flee on a moped.

Detectives want to speak to anybody who recognises the two men on the CCTV or has any information about the incident which happened on Thursday, April 21.

The first suspect is described as around 16 years old, 5ft 8ins tall and possibly Turkish.

He was wearing a distinctive silver coloured ring with a small black stone on the ring finger of his right

hand. He wore a black t-shirt, black or blue 'Puffa' style jacket and blue denim jeans.

The second man is described as a young male, 5ft 8ins tall and wearing a white motorcycle helmet.

He was dressed in a grey hooded top, grey jogging bottoms and a black jacket and was riding a grey coloured moped.
