Woman arrested for murder after her four-day-old son dies ‘after three hours in the FRIDGE’

Angela Blackwell, 27, from South Carolina, in the US, faces life imprisonment

A woman killed her four-old-son when she left him in a fridge for three hours, according to cops.

Authorities say Angela Blackwell, from South Carolina, in the US, put the tot, called William, inside and shut the door.

According to reports she then took him out three hours later and tried to get him medical attention.

The 27-year-old now faces up to life imprisonment for killing the boy.

According to the Chester County Coroner Terry Tinker, William died of hypothermia with asphyxiation from the cold,

Blackwell's neighbour, Neely Parker : That's wrong. Wrong is wrong, regardless of whatever it is. It ain't supposed to be like that."

William's father, Jeff Lewis, told the TV station Blackwell was "a good mum".

He added other people were at home when the child died.

 Blackwell who also has a three-year-old son, was arrested on Monday on a charge of homicide by child abuse.
 According to reports she then took him out three hours later and tried to get him medical attention. The 27-year-old now faces up to life imprisonment for killing the boy

The incident happened on February 27th but they have been delays in the investigation.
Her other child was taken by the South Carolina Department of Social Services.
