THIS is the shocking moment a gang of brutal muggers rob a teen as he goes to the aid of a friend.

The five-strong group are shown tearing a bike from their victim’s hands during the terrifying ordeal at a south London underground station.

The victims of the attack were both robbed of their bicycles and mobile phones in the robbery on July 6.

They were cycling near to Morden station when a group of five older boys approached and threatened them before demanding their bikes.

The group targeted one of the victims and took his bike and mobile phone.

And when his friend put his bike down to intervene, they turned on him and stole his too.

The suspects then fled the scene.

A spokesman for the Met said: “Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise or witness the five teenagers shown on CCTV.”

Officers described one suspect as being a medium built white boy with short brown hair and wearing a dark blue jumper, jeans and red trainers.

The other four suspects are all described as slim built black teenage boys with short hair.

One was wearing a fur hat, blue hooded coat with and dark blue track suit, another wore a blue baseball cap and beige trousers and the other two were wearing grey jumpers and jeans.
