Terrified Megabus passengers demand driver pulls over after spotting him nod off at the wheel and almost crash
Witnesses saw the coach veer between lanes and almost hit a car during the journey from London Victoria to Cardiff
PASSENGERS on a budget Megabus coach demanded their driver pull over amid claims he was nodding off at the wheel.
When he stopped at a motorway service station the 50 travellers refused to retake their seats.
Witnesses said the coach had veered between lanes and almost hit a car an hour into the 160-mile journey from London Victoria to Cardiff.
Police were then called to Membury services on the M4 in Berkshire, where the driver passed a breath test and a replacement took over.
Mum-of-two Jane Cohen, 46, said: “Passengers saw the driver’s head dropping. Women and kids were crying in fear.”
