Lucky National Lottery punter comes forward to claim £4.1million prize after scooping eye-watering win
A LUCKY punter has come forward to claim a £4.1million win on the National Lottery.
The winner scooped the eye-watering sum in the Saturday Lotto draw on November 13.
Lottery operators Camelot said once the ticket was validated and paid out, the ticket-holder would decide whether to go public about their win.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “We’re delighted this amazing prize has been claimed.
"Our focus now is on supporting the ticket-holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their life-changing win.”
In this Saturday night’s draw, another lucky ticket-holder scooped the £4million jackpot.
The life-changing wins followed the £11million jackpot won by a ticket-holder in the Lotto draw on October 30.
But there was no such luck in the EuroMillions draw on Friday, with the jackpot rolling over to a whopping £122million for Tuesday night's draw.
More than £1.2billion in lottery money is being used by charities and organisations affected by the impact of Covid.
The sum includes more than £600million in funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to help groups supporting people through the pandemic.
