Trigger-happy tyrant Kim Jong-Un executes top official with ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUN for falling asleep in a meeting

Man was one of two killed on 'trumped up' charges after upsetting the dictator

TYRANT  Kim Jong-Un has executed one of North Korea's top officials with an anti-aircraft gun after the man fell asleep in a meeting.

The despot ordered the killing of Ri Yong-jin, a boss in the education ministry, after he made the fatal mistake of nodding off as the 'glorious leader' spoke.

South Korea's JoongAng Ilbo newspaper reported: "He incurred the wrath of Kim after he dozed off during a meeting that Kim presided over.

"He was arrested on-site and intensively questioned by the state security ministry. He was executed after other charges, such as corruption, were found during the probe."

A second official was named as Hwang Min, a former agriculture ministry, was also ordered to be killed "because policy proposals he had pushed for were seen as a direct challenge to the leadership of Kim Jong-Un," the newspaper reported.

Details of the policies were not released, although it has been confirmed that Mr Hwang was replaced in a gathering of the North Korean parliament earlier this year.

Using over-the-top weapons against anyone who crosses Kim's bonkers regime has been well documented in the past.

In April last year. satellite images were said to have captured an imminent execution at a military camp juts outside North Korea's capital.

It's also been claimed the Kim family - which has ruled North Korea since 1945 - has also used flame-throwers and mortars to slaughter opponents.

The JoongAng Ilbo suggested the latest executions "may be interpreted as a new reign of terror in North Korea" prompted by a string of recent defections.

North Korea- where you can be killed for watching TV

Capital punishment is an often-used form of punishment in North Korea for offences such as grand theft, murder, rape, drug smuggling, treason and espionage.
However, trivial 'crimes' like reading foreign newspapers and watching TV shows not approved by Kim's brutal regime are also punishable with death
Executions are mostly carried out by firing squad, hanging or decapitation in public.
But in the past the Kims have been known to kill their political opponents with flame throwers and even mortars.
Human rights groups have evidence of 1,193 executions in North Korea through 2009.
Many people are executed every year - most at the orders of the 'glorious leader' himself.
On November 3, 2013, at least 80 people were publicly executed for minor offences.
The executions were said to be carried out simultaneously in Wonsan, Chongjin, Sariwon and Pyongsong.
Those killed were accused of watching South Korean movies, watching porn or possessing a Bible.
In Wonsan, 10,000 residents were forced to watch when eight were machine-gunned to death at the local sports stadium.
In December 2013, North Korean state media announced the execution of Jang Sung-taek, the uncle by marriage of Kim Jong-Un.
According to a South Korean newspaper, Jang's nephew, O Sang-hon, was also executed by being burnt alive with a flame thrower.
In 2007, a factory chief convicted of making international phone calls was executed by firing squad in front of a crowd of 150,000.
It's reported that six people were killed in the rush as spectators left the stadium which hosted the execution.
