Police investigating video of female road rage driver threatening BBC presenter Jeremy Vine in London street
Video shows the female motorist unleash a foul-mouthed tirade on the beeb's new Crimewatch host
COPS are investigating footage of a female motorist launching a road rage attack on BBC presenter Jeremy Vine.
The fiery red-haired driver threatened to "knock him out" and allegedly made a gun sign at the beeb's new Crimewatch host as he cycled along a narrow street in London.
On Tuesday the Metropolitan Police said it had no record of a complaint being made.
But today a force spokesman confirmed officers are looking into the footage.
The woman motorist may have been driving a car without road tax.
DVLA records show the Vauxhall's tax expired two months ago.
The clip - recorded on a camera mounted to his bike - starts with Vine being tailgated by a black Vauxhall in Kensington, west London.
Worried the car was too close, he stops in the road before she jumps out of the charges over to confront the Radio 2 host.
She shouts: "Why did you do that?
"Do you not respect your f***ing life?"
Mr Vine replies: "I've got to be within a car's width of the parked cars."

He was riding in the middle of the road as cyclists are urged to stay central along narrow streets lined with parked cars to avoid crashing into doors.
She then appears to kick out at Vine and orders him to "get the f*** out of the road".
The furious motorist jumps back into her vehicle and speeds off, coming within inches of crashing into a parked car.
But 30 seconds later the pair lock horns again.
As she leaps out of her car and races over to the Make Me An Egghead quiz show host, Vine pleads: "Don't assault me, you've already assaulted me".
Worried Vine is taking a picture on his mobile phone, the furious motorist shouts: "If you take a picture of my car I'm going to knock you out.
"It's my personal belongings."
Vine warns: "Don't hit me, that would be assault."
As he draws alongside the car she allegedly forms her hand into the shape of a gun.
The radio presenter says: "Wow, a gun is not appropriate."
