Trolls target JK Rowling after she again rubbishes comparisons of Jeremy Corbyn with Hogwarts head
Author is outspoken about her dislike of the Labour leader
JK Rowling yesterday rubbished a comparison of Jeremy Corbyn and her lovable Harry Potter wizard Dumbledore.
Fans of the grey-bearded Labour leader claim he is a socialist version of the Hogwarts headmaster.
But the author, a former party donor, told her eight million Twitter followers: “Corbyn. Is. Not. Dumbledore.”
She slammed him for appearing on Iranian TV — and got a torrent of abuse from Corbynista trolls.
Ms Rowling has previously criticised linking the Labour leader with Dumbledore, stating: “I forgot Dumbledore trashed Hogwarts, refused to resign and ran off to the forest to make speeches to angry trolls.”
The author then linked the tweet to an article stating that Mr Corbyn was paid up to £20,000 for appearances on the Iranian news channel Press TV which was banned in Britain for its part in filming the detention and torture of a journalist.
Ms Rowling went on to give a passionate defence of the last Labour government, prompting even more online fury.
