GEORGE Osborne doesn’t look like he’s adjusting to live as a backbench MP very well after being pictured looking lonely on the Tube.

The Former Chancellor was spotted staring at his on the London Underground a week after he took his first Uber.

Having been groomed by David Cameron to be his successor as Prime Minister, he was instead bundled out the back of Downing Street by Theresa May when  she entered Number 10 in July.

Mr Osborne has since had to return his taxpayer-funded ministerial car, and repotedly used the minicab app for the first time recebntly.

His Uber driver revealed he booked a car to take him from his home in west London to a party in Clapham, with a bottle of champagne tucked under each arm.

And yesterday he was seen on the Tube, with the picture sent to the Eye Spy MP account on Twitter, which posts sightings of politicians on social media.

He was looking intently at his smartphone and dressed casually in an open-necked shirt, jeans and suede boots.

Other Twitter users joked about what he might have been looking at on his screen, with one suggesting he might have been waiting for a message from the Prime Minister.

Isaac Duffy  tweeted: “Looks at phone: "Hey Theresa!" *Message opened, no reply*.”

Last month Mr Osborne was filmed firing a massive machine gun while on holiday in Vietnam, prompting comparisons with Rambo.

The Tory MP spotted by fellow tourists paying £1 a bullet to fire an old US Army M60 – the favourite weapon of the Sylvester Stallone character.

He was on a vacation with his son, which we revealed yesterday was arranged after he ditched plans to spend it with Michael Gove at the urging of Samantha Cameron.
