Cop rubbishes conspiracy theory that Tupac is alive as he says rapper told him ‘f**k you’ as he died
Retired officer Chris Carroll recounts the moment he saw the rapper die, saying he instantly knew there was no hope
A RETIRED cop has poured cold water over conspiracy theories that Tupac is alive, saying he saw the rapper slip unconscious, whispering "f*** you" as his last words.
Chris Carroll was one of the first police officers on the scene of the Las Vegas shooting, saying he watched the megastar pass out after being shot.
Tupac died six days later with Carroll telling after he arrived at the shooting scene on September 7, 1996.
The 51-year-old retired cop said: "Tupac is dead. I saw him lose consciousness and lose his life 20 years ago.
"I still find it astonishing the fans and people believe that Tupac is alive."
The retired cop recounted the moment when he was on a routine patrol through Las Vegas when he heard a radio alert about shots being fired into a BMW from a while Cadillac just a mile from where he was.
After reaching the crash site, Carroll said he immediately saw a silhouette of a man sitting in the BMW's passenger seat.
He said blood was gushing out of the man's skill where he had been hit by a bullet.
He said despite calling for the man to get out of the car, the man didn't move.

When he got closer to the scene and pulled open the shot up car, Carroll said he realised how badly shot Tupac had been.
He said the Harlem-born star was gurgling with pain and was losing blood quickly.
But he said when he tried to ask Tupac who had shot at him, the star looked at him, saying: "He finally moved his line of sight from Suge, glared at me, mustered the energy to take as deep as breath and possible and said 'f*** you'."
Tupac was infamously shot dead in Las Vegas in 1996 in a murder which remains unsolved, and the 20th anniversary of his death will occur in September.
The cop's indignation comes after theories were reignited when a new photograph appeared online, with the selfie appearing to show the rap megastar was still alive 20 years after he was gunned down in Las Vegas.
Rumours were also flying that the rapper was still alive when a news and entertainment company, Reporterz, reported that Tupac was living a secret life in Cuba.
But Carroll said he had seen fatal shooting attacks to know the moment he saw Tupac that the rapper's life was over.
He said he had struggled with theories that he had been the one to shoot the rapper and said he also did not believe Suge had ordered the killing.
