A WOMAN in her 70s has been airlifted to hospital and a 77-year-old man arrested after a stabbing in Cornwall.
The elderly victim suffered knife wounds in the attack the sleepy seaside town of Falmouth.

She was rushed to Derriford hospital in Plymouth, Devon, where she is believed to be in a stable condition.
Cops are questioning a man on suspicion of GBH.
It is believed the attack took place at a property in the town.
Police confirmed they were called on Sunday morning at around 8am.

The man remains in custody for questioning.
