Car accident dad’s corpse left undiscovered on a roundabout for a week
Thick vegetation on edge of roundabout to blame for motorist's body remaining at crash scene
A MOTORIST killed in a roundabout crash was not spotted for a week.
Darren Bennett, 28, is thought to have hit the banking at speed, which catapulted his Renault high into trees.
Thousands of people drove past him for days afterwards as the thick roundabout copse is above ground level and barely visible.
The dad’s wrecked car was only seen on the carriageway of the busy Junction 58 over the A1(M) on Saturday, a week after he was reported missing.
A passer-by said: “It’s one of those huge roundabouts above a motorway with thick vegetation.
