SHAWN Laval Smith has been identified as the suspect wanted in the fatal stabbing of UCLA grad student Brianna Kupfer who was slain at her job in a luxury furniture store.
The 31-year-old was named by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) as the suspect captured on security camera video calmly purchasing a vape pen from a 7-Eleven just 30 minutes after the killing.

Meanwhile, a press release tweeted out by LAPD read, "Smith has been in Pasadena, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Covina, San Diego, San Francisco and several other locations around southern California."
The release warned, "He is likely to be using public transportation."
"Special attention should be given to bus stops and train platforms."
