Police in frantic search for Katie Breen, 13, last seen by neighbours this morning
Katie Breen has not been seen since this morning when a neighbour saw her
POLICE are frantically searching for a missing 13-year-old girl who has not been seen since this morning.
Katie Breen, of Whitton Road, Ferryhill, County Durham, was last seen by a neighbour early in the day.
Officers are trying to trace the youngster after she has been missing since 9.30am.
She is described as white, 5ft3ins tall, of slim build, with long dark hair which is probably tied back.
She was last seen wearing dark coloured clothing and she was carrying a dark coloured backpack.
Durham Constabulary Inspector Neil Fuller said: "We have serious concerns for Katie's welfare and would urge anyone who thinks they have seen her or has any information regarding her whereabouts to get in touch with us as a matter of urgency on 101.
"I would also urge Katie to make contact with her family to reassure them she is safe."
