Taouk was sentenced to two years in prison after admitting sexually assaulting a woman and the aggravated break and enter into her home.
He was caught by police after his DNA was found on the woman's pyjama shorts and he was captured on CCTV footage on the couple's street.
The judge read an apology letter from Taouk which explained he was mentally ill and "was just following voices".

"I am so sorry with all my heart and hope the victim is getting better with her life, no woman deserves that in her life."
