DRAMATIC footage shows the moment a have-a-go-hero dressed in a shirt and tie chased off attempted armed robbers attacking a jewellers with a baseball bat.
Shoppers then helped the hero to restrain the thugs.
A moped-riding gang attacked a jewellers in Windsor at about 10am this morning, smashing windows with what appears to be a sledge hammer.
In video footage passers-by can be heard shouting before a man emerges to chase the thugs from the shop front.

In the confusion the gang - now all aboard the moped - topple over one landing in a heap on the floor where shoppers moved in to restrain them.
Thames Valley Police said one member of the public who intervened was taken to hospital, although his injuries are not believed to be serious.
Hannah Carrington, 20, was working at the nearby Polarn O Pyret clothing shop when the attack happened.
She said she saw one man covered in blood after holding one suspect down.
She said: "They arrived on two motorbikes, which we thought was the cleaner's blower but all of a sudden we heard all this screaming and banging.

"I looked out the window and saw three or four guys with a sledgehammer just bashing the window."
Hannah claimed that several members of the public appeared to be threatened by the men.
"The guy who was sledgehammering looked like he was threatening to hit them and, I don't know where he came from, just a random guy, he squared up to him at first with nothing.
"The guy was going 'get away' and he was saying 'go on then, go on then'."
Hannah praised those who stepped into help.
A 36-year-old witness saw the have-a-go hero take chase after the men.
He said: "He came out of a shop chasing them them out of the jewellers.
"You could tell everyone was a bit scared, no one else wanted to confront them."
Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
