Caroline Flack’s ex fiancé Andrew Brady JAILED after campaign of harassment against Dan Wootton
TRAGIC telly host Caroline Flack’s former fiancé Andrew Brady has been jailed for four months following a campaign of harassment against TV presenter Dan Wootton.
Brady, called “shameful” by the judge, had an axe, machete, crossbow and knives confiscated at his home, a court heard.
The judge said the former Apprentice star’s claims the GB News host was in some way responsible for Caroline’s death in February 2020 were “wholly irrational” and concluded Mr Wootton was a genuine friend of the Love Island host.
It was also revealed Caroline admitted she was scared of Brady, 31, in the weeks leading up to her death.
Summing up, Judge Jeremy Richardson QC said: “Daniel Wootton is a well-known journalist in the print media and on television.
“He was a friend of the late Caroline Flack and he wrote articles about the tragedy of her death and wrote about her when she was alive.
“It is a sad fact that you wholly purported to blame him in some way for her death. It must be made clear nothing could be more removed from the truth.
"The truth about your harassment of Mr Wootton has very little about the death of Ms Flack, it has everything to do with your craving for celebrity and the fact the press were not at all interested in your uninteresting life.”
Caroline killed herself in February 2020 after she was sacked by ITV following her arrest over a bust-up with her then boyfriend Lewis Burton.

Brady later sent Mr Wootton threats, accusing him of being a murderer and a sex offender.
The victim told the court it included “warnings to prepare for violence and menacing death threats”.
Brady, of Sheffield, pleaded guilty at the city’s crown court.
The judge also imposed a ten-year restraining order.
