AMANDA Knox and boyfriend Christopher Robinson have jetted into Toronto to promote the Netflix documentary about her life.
Controversial 'Amanda Knox' will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month before a global launch on September 30.
This morning the couple flew into Canada for the start of a three-week PR offensive ahead of film release
Christopher was wearing a varsity jacket with an 'Amanda' name patch which has become his trademark since the couple announced they were together.
Last week we told how Amanda penned a love note to her new fella bizarrely comparing their home to her Italian prison cell.
Describing moving into a flat with her writer boyfriend she wrote: ““I’m reminded of how my cell in Capanne prison transformed in character with the arrival or release of even just one prisoner."
Knox and her former Italian boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were convicted of Londoner Meredith's death in 2007, with an eight-year legal battle following as they fought to overturn the conviction.
Ultimately, Knox only served four years of her 26-year sentence with the verdict over-turned.
A subsequent re-trial in 2015 was thrown out, with Knox able to remain in Seattle.
But in the new documentary, Knox, who was nick-named Foxy Knoxy, speaks out, once again denying that she was ever involved in the murder.
Meredith, a 21-year-old from Surrey, was found dead in the cottage she shared with Knox and two other women in Perugia, Italy.
The young woman had been sexually assaulted and stabbed to death.
It was these graphic details, including the claims of prosecutors that the young woman had been killed during a drug-fuelled sex game, that gained worldwide attention.
Directed by Rod Blackhurst and Brian McGinn, the film follows other successful Netflix documentaries examining murder cases, including 'Making A Murderer'.
The Knox documentary promises to tell "the other side" of Knox's story and includes direct interviews with the now 29-year-old.
In the new trailer, Knox speaks about how she had travelled to Italy to grow up - but her life was turned upside down by the case.
Knox, who was also branded an "ice queen" by tabloid press, firmly replies "no" to questions put to her, including whether she killed Meredith, whether she was present at the murder or if she knew anything she had not yet told police.
She said: "We weren't best friends but I was so shocked about what happened to her."
She also described the change the trial and time in jail had on her life, saying: "Suddenly, I found myself tossed into this dark place.
"I was so scared. I don't know what else to say.
"Before Italy, I had a happy life.
"It was very important for me to get out of my comfort zone and see if that made me turn into an adult.
"The whole world knew who I had ever had sex with.
"I felt like a child again. I knew - I was a kid."
The film is set to premiere tomorrow at the Toronto International Film Festival and will be released on Netflix on September 30.
