A JET2 passenger plane which abandoned a flight from Manchester Airport because of a technical landing gear fault has done the same thing again two days later.
Flight LS875 from Manchester to Faro in Portugal entered a holding pattern a few minutes after departure this morning.
It took off at 8.39am heading south, but turned north towards Wigan and Merseyside before circling for about 30 minutes, the.

Passengers had landed by 9.41am and were put straight on to another plane.
The Boeing 757-200 - registration G-LSAG -is the same plane that circled over the airport on Wednesday after suffering a landing gear fault.
Flight LS819 departed for Rhodes in Greece at 10.26am on Wednesday and is began circling to burn off enough fuel to be light enough to return to the ground.
A spokesman for the airport confirmed there had been a technical difficulty with the aircraft and that the pilot had requested a check of the gears and brakes following landing.
Reports indicated the plane still had its landing gear down, which should have retracted immediately after take off.

Paul Sinclair tweeted: “Pleased to say we are now on the runway.
“We weren’t told too much apart from landing gear wouldn’t go up so had to circle until fuel burnt off.”
