Toddler finds the world’s biggest Hula Hoop at over five inches
A TODDLER is the new lord of the rings after finding the world’s biggest Hula Hoop at over five inches.
Charlie Richards, two, pulled the colossal crunchy out of the BBQ Beef flavour bag he was munching through.
The puzzled lad showed the 5.5in whopper to his shocked dad Ian, 39, who found the banana-shaped biggie had broken the record set last year.
It is 12 times longer than normal and Ian told The Sun: “When I saw it, I couldn’t believe it. I nearly fainted.
“It was over double the size of Charlie’s hand. It was absolutely enormous. He was about to eat it but I stopped him just in time.
“At first I thought it was a worm or something like that.” Ian, of Exeter, added:
“We lined the hoop up to a tape measure and saw how big it was. It was mad.”
It beats the previous Hula Hoop record of 5in pulled from a bag last year by Alec Linley in Kent.
Forklift truck driver Ian plans to sell the super-sized KP snack and give some of the proceeds to charity. He said: “I just need to try and avoid breaking it.”
